2.7I have always loved all of my employers in the past but something was odd at this company. Processors were hired in droves and laid off or let go the same way. Nobody working there could feel stable because of the high processor turn over and temporary nature of the position. Because of this there was no camaraderie between any of the employees- knowing that the person next to you could be gone tomorrow with no notice. I had never experienced this in a bank before and processors are usually held onto and coveted at banks because of their unique skill set. This company was looking for processors to make phone calls and order flood, etc. They were not looking for pre underwriters and using our "underwriting brains" was verbally discouraged in favor of ignoring issues with files and just repeatedly submitting the files to underwriting. The people there were nice but the feel of the company in general was that it was all about the dollars and the bottom line and the people didn't really matter much. I wouldn't recommend this employer to anyone. Anytime a processor left a more stable bank to come work with MFM I felt very bad for them knowing that they probably weren't aware of the revolving door. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a long term position.

2.9The IT department manager was always in over his head and took it out on his employees. Upper level management did not adhere to concerns from many employees regarding the IT manager. I was given too many responsibilities for my pay level, performed well, but was underappreciated and condescended to constantly. When I pushed back I was let go for absences during an approved vacation. Office politics at its finest.
