"I have worked for Medhost since November 2019 and have extremely enjoyed my experience within my organization thus far. I have been given multiple responsibilities that are crucial to the organization's day-to-day operations and am grateful for this. I have a great re pore with management and fellow team members, therefore nothing but great things to say about the company!"

Product Owner

"I've worked for Medhost for over 8 years. For the first few years, it was a good place to work--I felt valued, that I was making a difference, that we were putting out a quality product. However, in the last year and a half to two years, that has changed. Upper management clearly no longer values their employees, pushes out products before they are ready, and seem to only be interested in the appearance of a solid bottom line. How they do this is by laying off employees, many of whom I know and had exceptional company and industry knowledge; and by sending to market unfinished products, which is then advertised on our website as being 'fully functional'. I have been personally involved in a project of this sort. Further, the management team overseeing development, at least in part of the company, is far behind the times, both from a technological standpoint and from an industry standpoint. Their leadership skills are severely lacking, and they have a 'good old boys' mentality. If you are not 'one of the boys', you are constantly fighting an uphill battle, and often losing, to try to implement needed enhancements that would benefit the company. Advice to upper management--the problems you are having, and they are many, are the result of your MANAGEMENT TEAMS! You can let go of analysts, developers, etc., but until you look to the real problems, they will just continue to get worse"

"They hire full time, but most people do not know Tennessee is "Work at Will" state. That means they can just terminate your employment without giving you any reason. Every year Medhost lays off hundreds of people without giving them any warning or notice. I was laid off after I moved, got my son admission in local university, and bought a house. Always consider your job as if it is a contract, and never move."

"When I began working for the company, it was Sentry Healthcare. Within a year's time, it became HMS, then Healthtech Holdings, and then MEDHOST. The company then downsized, but I loved my work there."
