Submit a Review"I have enjoyed working as a mechanic. Repairing something always gave me a great feeling of accomplishment. Never really hated anything about my job or being a mechanic. If I didn't enjoy what I did I would not have done it for thirty-five years. Hate is a strong word, there are things that I disliked. But those things are part of the job."

"I love getting to work with cars. At Cole Garage there weren't many super cool or interesting things to work on; however, clients were generally really nice and it was rewarding to know that you helped them out when they needed it or got to have a nice conversation with them after fixing a problem they had. With that said, pay wasn't that great but the days usually weren't too taxing or long. I enjoy working with my hands and getting into technical issues and solving problems and helping people."

"I enjoy being a Mechanic and Technician but not really enjoying being a Mechanic/Technician with ERMC. I have been told that rewards aren't given out nor are raises. Its a small very small chance that someone can move up in that company unless they're friends with the supervisor."

"It was a paycheck that didn't bounce in the two years I was there."

"Don't do it, dead end job, everyone in fear of losing their jobs."

"Being treated like disposable diapers, instilling fear with the at-will employment clause."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Communicate with your grunts instead of walking around looking at everyone working for you as monkeys in a cage."

What do you like about working at National Freight Industries?
"being away from the shop most of the time, when I found problems in field I would have to use my personal cell phone for communications with no reimbursement but in field gave false sense of personal decision"

"dont do it I wasted 2 years here, they seem to enjoy enacting the at willclause and there is no sense of security"

"the fact that I was fired for willful destruction of company property, uniforms that were torn up from work, and then ignored"

"the same that applies to me. the person responsible for the decision of termination was himself brought up on sexual harrassment charges and he was simply relocated"

"Don't go to the interview unless you are desperate for a job."

"Management's views on everything is it's their way or the highway and aren't open to suggestions at all and tend to have a negative attitude towards employees and the low pay."

"Treat people with respect and increase pay to lower turnover rates."

What do you like about working at Aviation Quality Group?
"The hours are really nice. 7:30am - 4:00pm unless there is overtime until 6:00pm which is mandatory."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Make this company your last resort worst case scenerio. May want to consider work outside of the field before joining this company. Brace yourself to see things you never thought happen in America in this day in age."
What don't you like about working at Aviation Quality Group?
"Complete lack of respect for all of the employees by the production manager. The people are treated like dirt. He believes every employee is trying to pull a stunt on him so he walks around looking for something to give employees grief about. They are time nazis, he makes a point to do a sweep through the break room the minute break is over and hassles anyone who might still be in there. There is no problem with interrupting breaks however. The micromanagement turns every small decision into a committee. They are cheap. Supplies that are needed for production are routinely canceled so workers do not have the supplies and consumables they need to do their job. They cut corners at every turn possible. If the EPA or OSHA came in, the shop would be closed in about five seconds.No positive reinforcement at all, but a surplus of grief. So morale is awful."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Fire the production manager. Incompetent. A perfect case of time gained ladder rungs. He has no business being a thousand miles from his position."
