Muscular Dystrophy Association Employee

"I came into this job with hopes of making a difference in our clients' lives. I quickly learned that is not the same attitude that management has. Management (I am using that term loosely) promotes a bully culture where they find it acceptable to gossip about and trash talk their employees and clients to other employees. They micromanage while they work from home. They provide no leadership or mentorship. There is little room for growth within the organization, especially in the AA role."

"Management is seriously lacking, and that is being generous. MDA hires young, inexperienced people who cannot lead and then lets the district fail. The Executive and Divisional Directors in the Milwaukee region are too engrossed with gossiping, playing favorites and being friends to truly manage. The Milwaukee Healthcare Services Coordinator is a 100% bully who forced 4 people in one year to leave MDA with her awful, abusive and rude behavior."
