"I've worked for McMaster-Carr for a year and a half. This company has amazing benefits and truly values their employee's careers and lives outside of work."
"McMaster-Carr is a great place to work with regard to compensation, but the overall experience leaves a lot to be desired. Although there is not a lot of red tape for a large company, it's very conservative and has little need to move quickly; thus, projects often do not move as quickly as you'd like due to a tendency to meet and discuss every aspect of a project. This conservatism extends to the workplace environment and lifestyle as well. You also have little ability to steer your career."

"McMaster is good for the skills, bad for the psyche."
