Marine Corps Community Services Overview

Marine Corps Community Services or MCCS is the home town support system that provides basic day-to-day needs to Marines and their families. Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia they currently operate two different divisions: The Marine and Family Programs Division and The Semper Fit and Exchange Services Division. The Deputy Commandant of Manpower and Reserve Affairs oversees the day-to-day operation of the MCCS.

The Marine and Family Programs Division is responsible for a variety of programs including casualty assistance, voting assistance, DEERS Dependency Determination, postal services and more. Both divisions are responsible for providing support to MCCS’s field activities for accounting, information technology and construction.
