"I was at Match, and was hired for a job as a developer. However, the real job was to do extensive data analysis, almost to the exclusion of development work. My boss was always very cagey about the requirements, and would be very unhelpful when I would ask for further clarification. The overall company is great. My situation there was not as desirable."

"I like intensity - However, it would be good to reduce political pressures and have a bit more freedom to produce more awesome than stick to the bottom line at all costs."

"Be sure to maximize your salary early - from what I've heard, there are no raises without promotion."

"As stated previously - there's a lot riding on the bottom line any given month. It sometimes seems shortsighted."

"Focus less on the short term gains ($) and put more effort toward leading the world in the next few years."
