"I love being able to help out a customer by meeting a tight demand schedule. At the same time this is a frustrating challenge during the seasonality of this business."

"micromanagement; manager was sexist and didn't trust women (even though she was a woman); and she did not know her job."

"why bother They wouldn't listen to Jesus Christ if He gave them suggestions!"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Interviews are conduction with multiple persons (sometimes at the same time) at the plant and usually last over 4 hours or more. There are few second interviews due to the long process completed during first interviews."
What don't you like about working at BorgWarner?
"Minimal opportunities for advancement in local plant. Management group has hard time working together for common goals. Obsessive focus on numbers means decisions are sometimes questionable in the pursuit of the number."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Connect more with people who are in the middle levels of the plant and listen to their concerns and suggestions. Get out on the floor more often and learn how things are really done."

"Pretty similar to a cast system. Figure out if you are an :untouchable"

"BREAK THE ELITIST WORK ENVIRONMENT. Upper management has no credibility, they solve all issues with a survey and no follow up."

"Lived very close to work, made it easy to get there when it snowed."

"The outside sales were very limited, inside sales did most of the customer contact."

"Better marketing, to other area's that could use or valves would have helped revenue."

"I enjoyed knowing what was expected of me, being given the tools, and being left alone to perform duties. Howver this only happened during the past 2 years."

"In March of 2010, new VP of operations was promoted. No manufacuting nor Supply Chain experience. He hired an ex-consultant with no Supply Chain experience. He began cleaning house, with I guess is his right."

"President needs to listen to the people that he used to listen to instead of his friends (the ex-consultant."
