"The prestige, the challenge of the work. Top notch equipment and facilities. It's like being at an Ivy League research laboratory."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Know what you're talking about. Be precise and concise in your language, don't act too eager, be a little coy with your strong interest in working there (if you have one), and most of all have excellent communication skills when doing powerpoint presentation. Presenting your work especially if you did thesis work could be the make-or-break moment in you getting hired."
What don't you like about working at Massachusetts Institute of Technology?
"Having been living next to NYC for the past 4 years Lexington, MA is not as exciting to live in. However it does have beautiful rolling suburban areas where surprisingly the homes don't all look the same (even the way they are painted is different, reflects individuality). Yet Boston is not too far away so as long as you have a car you can live in a major city while working there. Commute is anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour though depending upon traffic conditions."
