"I've been working in Dr. Zieske lab at Schepens since 1998. He was a smart, hard working person. He guided me in my career. During my stay in his lab, my projects were about the mechanism of corneal wound healing. We are trying to find out how to make the corneal wound heal without scarring. My knowledge in biochemistry and medical research benefit me a lot with my projects. The model of 3D stroll construct which I help developed has advanced ophthalmologic research in the international arena. My finding about the role of P38 MAP Kinase Inhibitors in wound healing was published as a patent in 2017, which may prevent/improve tissue fibrosis after wounding. I have 34 published papers so far."
