"Marketing allows me to try new things to reach target market and see the effectiveness of my efforts. It can be rewarding to see my work make a real difference!"
"I love everything about marketing!"
"I loved what I did and I was extremely good at it. Overall, I enjoyed working with most of the people, however some people simply didn't care. I've never been good with people who give less than 100%. The review (self-assessment) process might be the biggest joke. I have worked for other companies and have NEVER seen anything so ridiculous. It's extremely time consuming and makes absolutely no sense. They know who they are giving raises to regardless. So, on top of your already hectic work days, take time out to do this. Sections included "climbing the mountain," and "seeing the mountain." Really? Also, why do I have to assess myself? Because management HONESTLY does not know what you do. They simply don't. Not a clue. I am always wary of companies such as this."
"I love having the freedom and ability to do my job and find new ways to educate and ultimately further the marketing program. There is a lot of trust at this company and the non-micromanagement environment is VERY appreciated."

"Some employees are good to work with and the building is nice."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"First, I would not recommend working for this company however; if you find yourself scheduled for an interview, prepare for a long, drawn out process that is similar to Caterpillar. It will take about six weeks from start to offer."
What don't you like about working at Water Street Solutions?
"Senior Management is pretty bad. The company changed from one of family values and customer care to individual greed."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"When over 30% of your employees leave, you should probably start to question your leadership staff."

What do you like about working at BoardVantage?
"The people. Really good people, all trying to do good work. Some groups are very happy, and there's a supportive atmosphere."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't take a marketing job here if they decide to hire one. They won't listen to you or let you do what's needed. You'll be in a long line of marketers through their revolving door. If you are in sales, get ready for no support."
What don't you like about working at BoardVantage?
"CEO is aloof to most and still manages to be micromanaging. Very worried about the wrong things. Has big areas where he lacks expertise and makes bad decisions. Revolving door in certain areas and a real lack of current practices in sales and marketing."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management doesn't take advice. If they did they would be in a lot better shape. They are lucky to be doing as well as they are and could be doing a lot more."

"Terrible. You go in with a lot of ideas and engergy and it gets sucked away."
What do you like about working at BroadVision?
"Not much. People are friendly but morale is low. Office is comfortable and bright."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't work here - it won't be anything like what they sell you in the interviews. No one feels good about the work they have to do and you won't be able to bring your best skills to use. You will be frustrated every day, and amazed at the lack of progress and bad decisionmaking. There have been virtually no new customers in North America in 3 years. They have no idea how to create a good product or sell or market it. You won't make any money in sales and you will be ignored in marketing. If you are in product dev, you will be mired in disorganization and nonsense."
What don't you like about working at BroadVision?
"Low morale, sense that company is going nowhere, worry that the CEO will suddenly want to change focus at the drop of a hat. Nothing is done well because the CEO is the final say on everything and he thinks he's the only one who knows anything. Decisions are mostly non sense and without input from the people with the right expertise."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be honest with the CEO. Don't support bad decisions and don't sell people a job that doesn't exist."

What do you like about working at BTX Window Automation?
"My current employer, BTX Window Automation, has been wonderful because I get to split my time between creative and organizational tasks. I love having that duality, because when I get stuck on the creative stuff, I can switch gears and do the organizational stuff. Its nice being able to use both sides of my brain. I also like that my boss is a very effective manager. He understands the importance of hiring good people and then simply clearing the way so team members can do what they do best with few obstacles. I'm constantly challenged to find new approaches and better solutions and I enjoy exercising my creative experience that way."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"BTX Window Automation was very professional and personable. They conduct very thorough and professional interviews. I was very impressed with the entire recruitment process."
What don't you like about working at BTX Window Automation?
"Providing employees fringe benefits would increase job satisfaction and employee job performance."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My boss is awesome! Some qualities which distinguishes him from the crowd are his ability to remain cool and composed in times of severe stress & tension and his patience. An excellent team player and mentor. He guides and supports us without saying much. A cool dude, a great person, mentor & boss all rolled into one. He is the BEST."
