"Being hired here is like joining a family of like-minded people. Seeing the evolution of product lines is fun! Working with hard-working, creative, intelligent folks is a joy!"

"Be VERY polite. Be prepared to speak highly of yourself without sounding haughty. Being bilingual is a plus. Heads up: salary offers are non-negotiable once made by HR."

"Not enough 'down time.' It is sometimes difficult to schedule vacation time because we are so relatively few in our departments."

"Management needs to be ever cognizant of the skills and talents that exist among their hires; some of us could serve equally well in many other departments."

"My coworker micromanages, is negative, passive-aggressive and less than helpful. The rest of the company is snarky. I don't like they franchisees."

"I get rid of the old people who are too afraid to do their jobs and be innovative."

"Smile, be yourself and give honest answers. Research before your interview and ask questions."
What don't you like about working at World 50?
"Having a degree was ranked higher than having work experience. This limited a lot of people's potential. The manager always reminded us that this is a poor economy and that the company is a work at will place. This didn't help the company moral."

"To acknowledge people that are doing well even if they are the janitor."

"I liked the challenge of coordinating and designing the marketing strategies for 21 stores all around Spain. Each region of Spain has an unique culture to consider and approach slightly differently."

"It is a great place to grow as a professional and learn to work with other points of view."

"I didn't like the marketing style that the Executive Director wanted to implement in the company. He didnt see the benefit of using the internet to attract more clients."

"Let the leaders of the each departments make more decisions since they were hired for their expertise in that area."

"Homes were beautifully designed and there were some great people there that were genuine and sincere."

"If you make it past the interviews and are offered a position, be cautious of how you handle yourself and always keep track of everything should you need to ever prove your innocence. Don't become involved with the drama that this company is notorious for. Beware of the dress code policy as it is required to wear pantyhose for women still!"

"Company culture is military like. Management often mistreated employees and often played the blame game. No loyalty to their employees, regardless of how long they have been with the company. No one communicates except when its negative."

"Don't be a puppy to the higher ups, stand up for what is right and don't let those under you suffer because of horrible company culture. Micromanagement does not encourage anyone to work harder."

"Be flexible and take Spanish courses, as both will be handy."

"Long hours, and I had to be on call during weekends."

"It was a great place to create, experiment and execute new marketing ideas. The products were always super chique and quite fun to create and use."

"Have a personality and embrace it. Fake people and fake attitudes just don't fly. Be yourself, be creative and be who you are - anything less will hurt in the long run."

"The most difficult thing was working across a 9 hour time difference. If we had been just two hours closer, we could have achieved so much more."

"I would place more emphasis on the US market by bringing aboard a sales person, tech support specialist and possibly an Marketing and Sales Intern once the all were on the same page."
