"some agents were just cut-throat commission people taking honesty and service on the side to make a sale."

"GBH has always been a business with team players and knowledgeable representatives. Its family-oriented culture is what keeps employees here for a long time."

"Reviews and salary increases are not visited frequently and there is currently no room for growth"

"None, business closed after funding from federal government was exhausted. Non-profit was designed to assist the failing Savings and Loan industry."

"Its a little heavily micro-managed."

"This is an adequate company to work for."
What do you like about working at DNP International?
"My associates were very nice and very competent. The products we sold were interesting. The work I did, when allowed to do my job was very interesting and required a lot of creativity and talent. The hours were not overly demanding, in fact they were very reasonable."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"They should be prepared to work for a company, where creativity isgreatly discouraged. They should be willing and eager to embrace every idea that management has regardless of their own good ideas and creative concepts. They should never even think of being late or leaving early no matter what the reason."
What don't you like about working at DNP International?
"The manager I worked had a difficult personality, was not always respectful of other people regarding their work or talents. There was far too much interference with every day tasks. While I think the Manager was very hard working, I think more could have been accomplished if there was less interference on a daily basis."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There needs to be more of a willingness to allow people to do the jobs, which they were hired to do. When a manager suggests new, interesting and creative ideas, they should be considered instead of immediately discredited. There should be more flexibility with regard to other employees ideas."

"Working in the marketing department, I would say, keep an open mind to learning how new products come to life."

"The company had been purchased and the whole ideology of the company had shifted from being a personal touch company to a world-wide conglomerate."

"Try to get back in touch with what the consumers want and then get back to getting the employees onboard with making that happen."

"I learned a lot, and the fast pace was exciting. I especially learned a lot from my director, who was an MBA from Harvard."

"I disliked the long hours, low pay, and lack of benefits."

"Topps was a wonderful company to work for. It was a company in which you worked hard but everyone had fun while working. Like sports you had to all work together as a team to win."

"Be energetic and have lots of ideas.............this company thrives on new ideas and hard working, team player employees."
What don't you like about working at The Topps Co.?
"Only at the end can I say that it changed some. When the economic crisis hit, Topps had just become a privately owned company and was hit hard economically."

"To keep working hard - this company will succeed and will become a place to enjoy working at again."
