"disciplined staff and management"
"work environment is good and work space and manager is good"
"Very good company culture"
"Great opportunities. Too much red tape."
"I have worked there for more than five years, and the environment has gone from mediocre to bad and depressing. So many repeated layoffs, so many empty offices, and those that are left just don't laugh much. It's really bad there right now. I'd avoid it until after it survives the evolution it is currently undergoing. I would not recommend it to IT people at all."
"Not fun. General delusion for elearning curriculums and module production. The one client they had - "HP" was really continually over-sold. Over scheduling and limited resources were consistent. Don't know what form they're in today or even if they exist at all. A high level purge could not make up for the lack of good management skills. The only opportunity for success is to break from the failing Steve Maritz business model."
"When I started, the climate in the Torrance office was wonderful and our creative team was always second to none. However, after a few years, I noticed that there were initiatives coming from unknown quarters that were, to put in mildly, counterintuitive. Confusion and distrust ensued. I heard things only got worse after I left, culminating in the entire division shutting down. I can only assume things are slowly righting themselves, but it has been several years since I worked there."
"I began loving my job, but after a while it just seemed that no matter how hard I worked, I wasn't going to get ahead. I mean, I worked hard. So, I became discouraged to really try to work my best anymore and just work at everyone else's mediocre level. I don't prefer to work like that, but I also like being rewarded for working hard."
"The coworkers were great to work with. I could not have asked for a better team spirit, team working together to get the job done. Supervisors were great as they would allow you to work independently and not look over your shoulder at everything you were doing. (Only one micromanaged.)"
