"My upward mobility was limited to our particular office as our headquarters was in St. Louis and I was not willing to relocated."

"The thing that I learned is that you must earn the respect of those you manage through your actions in order to be a successful manager. Your subordinates are only going to work as good as you do as a manager. Realization of this has ensured that I conduct myself in the highest manner I possibly can at all times."

"Promote people based on experience and value as oppose to time being with the company or previous titles"

"I loved being involved in a lot of new things, being a part of work teams to develop training and/or figure out ways to improve process or cost savings. I loved the quarterly meeting that involved everyone in the company regardless of position."

"It is a good place to work if you can get past all the management changes and just go with the flow"

What don't you like about working at Maritz?

"There was constant turmoil with senior management turnover. Very difficult to get good direction from the top as it was constantly under new leadership. Very hard when the company is going through so much to try to focus on business at hand."

"Look outside the company old time management and bring in new management that has the authority and is recognized by all as having that authority to make real change not just speak about it and then go back to old time management that is shuffled from one group to another but are all still good old boys."

"There are no management for Interactions anymore. This part of the company dissolved."
