Manufacturing News Employee

"A small company which punches above its weight regarding its reach in the manufacturing industry. It's located in historic Grapevine, TX and it a 'jeans and t-shirt' kind of job. When you travel, they take care of all expenses which is nice. However, my experience was not pleasant. I was hired to do a certain job but on my first day, I was told I would be doing something entirely different and it would be my primary focus. None of this was discussed during the interview or listed on the job description. Leadership loves to pass off work to you so they can go do other things while you keep their family-owned company afloat. Leadership also loves to travel and rack up four-figure bills for a single dinner with three people while the small staff back at the office works overtime to make sure the work gets done. Manufacturing News is one of the best publications in the industry but their high turnover rate and wasteful spending habits say enough about how they often treat their people and their business."
