"I disliked the lack of upward mobility and pay, and the funding was always in question."

"They need to develop a long-range strategic plan. Each new addition to the team should be evaluated by the entire team. This keeps group cohesion."

"The offer plenty of vacation time and good benefits, typical for government work."

"Don't get any misconceptions about advancement or personal development. This is a place to park."

"There is zero individual empowerment. All projects and assignments come from higher up; employee suggestions receive lip service only."

"Management needs to better utilize employees' skills. There are people with master's degrees doing data entry!"

"Make sure you are aware of what is happening at the firm, who is in the c-suite, and what the strategic initiatives are. Be current and be yourself."

"While our team delegates work quite well, it seems that when requiring feedback of other teams, there is a certain level of bureaucratic resistence"

"Possibly a different style of research compilation, one that is still consistent and objective, but perhaps formatted in a different fashion"
