"I get many requests to do many things but I do all of the work as well as managing the department."

"Listen to the people in all of the departments for process improvements."

"Close to Monroe and the people are very hard working."

"Do not question why things are done the way they are done without fear of retaliation."
What don't you like about working at Colony Brands?
"The company does not recognize good personal efforts and achievments and is fast to point out all the bad in a person. To many people are paranoid and always watching their own backs. Very uncomfortable environment."

"Listen to the hourly people without the Safety and HR departments (screening) prior approval. A neutral union representative is needed."

"Job security and various locations, and helping the guy next to me."

"Always traveling overseas to support both wars with little to no notice."

"Let the people that know what they are doing do their work and the people who belong in an office stay in there."

"Do not get frustrated with the culture of entitlement of the UAW."

"There seems to always be another obstacle keeping maintenance from completing the work."

"If the UAW refuses to do the work in a timely or costly manner, hire a contractor who is more than happy to do the work."

"The team work in the maintenance shop was the corrner stone of my staying there."

"Good luck, I do believe that Richs as a whole is probibly a good deal different at the corp. level or at least it use to be Bob Rich was a fine man"

"lack of recognition & direction they failed me by not suporting the needs of the shop and lead by taking credit for work they didnt do. And blaming instead of team work instead of scrutinizing after the fact assist in correcting."

"leadership and ethics need a great deal of work just to bring it up to par. The name and blame game. And lead by who is making me feel good about myself generally have no place in a company especially one using family as the associate treatment guide."

"There was tremendous potential on the shop floor and with the ee's."

"The 3rd shift time is not condusive to my family."

"This company is no longer open there for I have no advise for anyone interviewing with this company."

"I did not like the feeling of impending doom as the company lost contracts and evenually closed the doors."

"Make more of a commitment to running a company that is proffitable."

"The challenging part of a large building with all aspects of maintenance issues, with the facilities as well as the mechanical equipment (conveyors, PLC, computers)."

"Get all the information upfront. I was told my position in 3rd shift was temporary (2-3 months), that was 18 months ago."

"Insecurity about the future of the company, lack of care for the associates or their needs. It is all about production and meeting numbers."

"More interest in the well being of the associates, improving the quality of work conditions."

"The way that our manager treats us. He is a very understanding person."

"Hard work pays out some times, but this pays the bills..."

"The job is not hard. What's hard is having to do so many tasks with only 2 employees in a limited amount of time. It's very overwhelming."
