Working at Magnetrol International in Aurora, IL: 3 Employee Reviews

Magnetrol International Employee

"I interned at Magnetrol International during the summer as a Service Desk Technician Intern. I had a good experience and was part of the Senior IT team from which I learned a lot. They offered me a part-time position during my school year and it has proved very beneficial."

"I did not work there for very long but I enjoyed the time I spent there. The company fell short in some noticeable way but in the time I was there I saw lots of improvement."

"Lots to like about Magnetrol... in 2014. They have fallen on hard times due to oil & gas exploration slowdown. Poor strategic planning at the top has now forced them into significant layoffs. This company is way too top heavy and is slow to react to the market. No decisions are made without the 12 apostles drinking from the cup and praising the idea. This company made money for years despite themselves, but now appears to have burned through $20 - 30 million in cash and is suffering, which means the employees suffer. Time for new leadership, someone who is business savvy, not an attorney."
