"Company is trying to improve the culture to make it inclusive and fair for all employees.This is a very good company if you work for a good manager."

"Better know somebody in management who can support you or else you won't last long."

What don't you like about working at Macy's?

"Systems and procedures are not followed. So company lacks means to measure and control systems and processes. This puts lots of stress on people who are trying to do good work for the company and end up working long hours. Loyalty wins over performance, hands down, and this discourages open communications."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Implement best practices (systems and procedures) throughout the company. Do not allow loyalty to become main criteria for rewards and punishment."
