What do you like about working at Long Island College Hospital?

"All the techs had monthly rotation to work with one particular camera. It was a great working experience with the doctors, manager and the colleagues. We had students who were training at the dept which also was a rewarding experience for me. We also had a monthly rotation in the hot lab where we assayed and prepared radiopharmaceuticals. We actually had someone who could relieve us at the lunch time, so I did not have to wait for all day to take a break."

What don't you like about working at Long Island College Hospital?

"Initially I walked 10 to 15 minutes to the train station and then changed 3 trains to go to Brooklyn from Rego Park where I lived. Sometimes I had to rush, because there was a long walk form the train station to the hospital. Later on I got a car which was better."

"I enjoy working with the staff at the cardology department"

"I can't think of anything bad to write about my ex job, it gave me a chance to practice and learn more. It was a great place to work."

"Very hard to get days off for school and making advancement fesible.To"

"The cafeteria was too small and food was not very good for the prices they charged the staff."

"Although it was a large hospital it was defintely a community. Everyone worked as a team, from the janitors to the physicians. It was a very cohesive floor and the nurses were great mentors"

What don't you like about working at Long Island College Hospital?

"The pay could have been better and the unit I was on did not provide for much in terms of learning other skills"
