"Too much politics and many layers of authorities that may prevent employees to get work done in a timely manner."

"Be practical and be supportive. Also, encourage employees to help each other."

"They are a big company with a big budget which means you have the resources to complete the tasks you are set out to do. Also, the fact that what you make helps protect others."

"Prepare yourself for an interview of team based questions. Focuses on times where cooperation was critical to tasks."

What don't you like about working at Lockheed Martin?

"Stagnant processes that seem to hinder innovation. Not wanting to change. Risk adverse."

"Put more emphasis on innovation. A lot of the processes seem stuck in their ways."

"I like the people. I work with a lot of good people."

"Not really. The company is average. The pay is average. There probably won't be any raises at that particular site for a while because of the lack of business coming in."

"The atmosphere. Also, there weren't' any local opportunities for growth."

"They really need to do a better job of being open with employees."

"Try to get on a program where the contract is won. They hire on IRAD and hope to get contracts. This frequently does not work out, especially in this economy."

"When Lockheed Martin loses a contract, they boot the contractors on unrelated work and fill in with permanent Lockheed Martin people."

"Hire more permanent workers as opposed to contractors with uncertain job durations."

"Lockheed Martin is a defense contractor and I take great pride in being able to support the men and women of the military."

"Be open and honest. There is a very diverse culture and your opinion will be appreciated."

"A large portion of Lockheed Martin's work is with legacy systems. I would prefer working on new, innovative solutions."

"Be more transparent. Many employees do not see Lockheed Martin's full vision and strategy."

"A repressive dictatorial management style, tight with their money beyond reason."
