"Lockheed has its own language made up of government acronyms and product specific keywords. It is very difficult to talk to Lockheed until you learn their language."

What don't you like about working at Lockheed Martin?

"Although I loved working on military aircraft, dealing with the US Government is difficult and at times frustrating. Many of the tasks we were required to perform seemed pointless and wasteful. However, we performed them because they were required by the customer."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Design and build products and take them to the government rather than going through the government procurement process. Try to eliminate the waste of government involvement in the product development."
