"I've worked for Liquidnet since 2006. It was truly a place where the best and brightest build the work's largest pool of institutional liquidity. The addition of the fixed income business as another successful revenue stream was also an exciting venture. That said, there has really never been a strong senior leadership team even in the early days. Lately, there is an infiltration of individuals without real vision or business acumen from the investment banks, so it has become like a smaller version of an investment bank with lots of strange politics and declining leadership as evidenced by the exodus of the real intellectual talent in the firm."
