What do you like about working at Lima Memorial Hospital?

"The Staff and Co-Workers are fantastic. They were like a second family."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be prepared for drama. You will work long hours because of staff minimalization by management, but you will get into trouble if you log any overtime. Know this going in: You will be smarter than your boss, and you will be deemed a threat if they realize it, so plan to dumb up a little."

What don't you like about working at Lima Memorial Hospital?

"Management is lacking. Departments are micromanaged and over managed. There are 13 levels of management between a staff employee and the CEO ~ way too many for company this size. There are more managers reporting to managers than anywhere I've ever worked."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop focusing on what you can take away from your employees, and start focusing on what you can do to be a desirable place to work. Nothing in the Mission, Vision, Values reflects in any way that this company cares about its employees."
