"I love working on shelving the books and check in and out."
"I love checking in and out library material; collecting fines and fees; shelving materials and shelf-reading; providing orientation to library use; providing basic computer instruction and assistance to public PC users. But I do not like working at library for part time job."

What do you like about working at Atlantic County Library System?
"I always enjoyed the semi-relaxed environment that lets people get done what had to be done in how ever long it takes."

"Be pleasant to the interviewer and be willing to do whatever is asked. It's really not that much"

"Sometimes there is a disconnect between workers that leads to arguements."

"Listen to peoples suggestions and comments about everything, co-workers included."

"I was a student and I like this library very much."

"I could not work on campus more when I gratuated by American law."

"The supervisor, Terri, is very sweet, and I like her very much."

"This is a position for someone that needs a job but doesn't plan to get anywhere with it."

"It was stiff, uncomfortable, dreary, slow, unstimulating, and too stagnant."

"I would make more of an effort to change the old programs and make the staff get to know each other better."

"I am shown what to do, and then left alone to get on with it. There are many opportunities to learn new things and to help others. I feel that my co-workers and supervisors trust and respect me."

"Be prepared to give examples of how you have overcome challenges or situations in the past that demonstrate your ability to do the job you are applying for."
What don't you like about working at Bay County Library System?
"Nothing. I love my job and look forward to going to work every day. I just wish I could work more hours."

"Mangement here is excellent. They do not micromanage, and if criticism or correction is required, it is done privately and with respect. Mangement wants its employees to succeed."

"Miscommunication on management.never give me any notice, bad environment"

What do you like about working at Prince George's County Memorial Library System?
"The customers are family and they help to create an environment that allows one to learn as well as teach in the process."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"You can learn alot about PGCMLS, stand up for yourself and do not fear the establishment. Some rules and guidelines are meant to be broken as long as it isn't illegal and doesn't cause anyone harm or danger. If you believe that a policy needs to be altered say something. If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything..."
What don't you like about working at Prince George's County Memorial Library System?
"The employees that work the hardest- circulation staff are treated like field slaves and are given no opportunities for upward mobility. The racism and discrimination that takes place is sick and the circulation supervisor and branch manager are opportunist that will do anything to advance their careers. Including jeopardizing their integrity and character."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Repent for your sins and accept each employee as a human that desires to work. Treating each as an equal and respecting them in process."
