Legal Secretary

"I learned from some of the very best and brightest partners, associates and paralegals the responsibilities of a legal secretary and thrived on making as many accomplishments as possible."

What do you like about working at Levett Rockwood?

"The litigation and corporate partners, the opportunity to work hard and work with the paralegals and associates. I have learned from some of the very best and brightest attorneys. I have a great and understand, as always, for the work they are responsible for. I advanced my civil litigation and corporate experience while working there. I played a very active role because the I assisted the associates and paralegals that reported to the Litigation Partner and kept busy. I learned about e-filing, fax filing, pdfing files then filing them with the court. I did a little bit of everything."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Good luck. Ask questions and get good, direct answers and not you don't have to worry about that because that may come back to haunt you. Focus on everything they tell you during training. You will learn alot from the paralegals, associates and partners. Good luck"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Give the new secretary the benefit of the dought. Just because she has not been there as long as the others, give her a change; learn to trust others secretaries."
