"Have dealt with a great boss in sociology. The bosses in criminal justice, not so much."

"Never getting steady employment, which seems in part a limitation imposed by a collective bargaining agreement."

"If there was a way to hire folks like myself, but with union requirements, it seems doubtful."

"Be prepared for the position you are applying for. If teaching, have a great plan in place to teach."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None, most of my concerns are out of their hands. Decisions are made at higher levels (State, Chancellor)."

"I enjoy the flexibility of my hours."

"There's not much job security unless you are tenured."
