"I think management should work out of the same office as their direct reports and have a training program to help individuals."

"A wonderful place to work with not only a group of staff who are there to help the college students but also thousands of new fresh faces of the incoming freshman."
What do you like about working at University of California, Irvine?
"The challenges that came with a new group of students. Not only the work procedures are changing week to week but also the people (in this case, the students) are different every year; and I found each year had its own challenge that needed to be dealt with."

"Again, be honest and show a desire to learn."
What don't you like about working at University of California, Irvine?
"Absolutely none! It was hectic during the 9 months school year, but I found myself looking forward everyday since everyday seems like a new place at work!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I was a manager and worked with other managers. I learned from them, implemented what I think was right to my own employees. I suggested to others new tactics to achieve the most efficient outcomes especially when dealing with such a large group of people as needed."

"Good place to cut your teeth in product safety, but get everything in writing - twice."

"There was no time for family. 24/7 operation with inadequate man power. One man had to be available 365 days a year 24 hours a day."
