"Company currently consolidating its resources and undergoing re-organization."
"Don't waste your time; this job is a dead end, joke! There is no training, there is stress because now the pay is commission based, and there is no teamwork. Back stabbing, lies, gossip, plotting against each other, just plain nasty. No manager has ever stayed more than a year."
"La-z-boy is an amazing company to work for."
"I worked as a sales associate for the last year with La-Z-Boy. I enjoyed the customers and the environment. At times it was slow during the week but the weekends were very busy. The management team was good and very accommodating with scheduling and school. I have learned a lot of skills which have helped me in my personal life. I like the process that you have to learn with customers and that we don't make a commission. It's relaxing for the customer and for the associate. No cut throat like the other places. It's very product knowledge heavy and requires a lot of studying of it to make sure you understand it. It's a cool job if you need sales experience and overall job experience."
