What do you like about working at La Jolla Playhouse?
"I really liked having the opportunity to work with world-renowned designers and directors. Working for the Playhouse was always moving and changing but such a fun place to work. I really enjoyed the crew that I worked with the most and my supervisor who was always willing to teach and help."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It's important that you are passionate about your craft or trade. For me, it was lighting. It was important for me to show a strong interest and initiative to working for the Playhouse."
What don't you like about working at La Jolla Playhouse?
"The Playhouse is a Seasonal company. In the off-season permanent employees worked for UCSD and the availability of permanent positions was very limited. I believe that my course of life and career would have changed significantly if I had the opportunity to hold a permanent position with the Electrics department."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I honestly don't have any suggestions to provide. From my experience the management are the top industry professionals."
