Working at KTG USA in Memphis, TN: 1 Employee Reviews

KTG USA Employee

"The company itself is great. You don't have people micromanaging your time as long as your work is done. You don't even have to clock in and out for your breaks. Once a month you will enjoy four to six days straight off in addition to your 1 - 3 days the other weeks depending on most positions. So the schedule can be flexible depending on the area you're working in. You get paid better than most facilities in that industry and area. The only major downsides are the certain people that you work with. There are good people there but they're also just as much or more not so good people that take away from the good. A typical uncomfortable workplace environment do exist in many areas to include those bunches that don't primarily focus on the task but would rather unnecessarily over-concerned themselves of other's private affairs creating a hostile environment. And the others who talk down on you like you're their unwanted or ostracized stepchild as if they're entitled to give you orders because they've worked there for an 'x' amount of years but they are not in position of authority. Unfortunately, reporting this to leadership and/or union in some instances don't always go the way that it should especially when there are conflict of interests involved or the "buddy system." And also if your leadership prefers to only listen to certain people in "their circle". Thus, only taking certain people's opinions without communicating with you or investigating themselves if it's a concern, which gives you an unfair perception or impression. Other than the special cases, this would probably be one of the best companies, for what it's worth, that I've worked for."
