"KMBC used to be a family environment, now it's completely corporate. While I appreciate the money I make, the atmosphere is taking a toll on me. Seniority means nothing! Management continually breeches our union contract, and our union really doesn't stand up for us. Management flat out lies to us, and then lies when they are confronted. Plus, it's not uncommon to hear derogatory sexual remarks even though we have to take sexual harassment training every couple of years. If you're considering broadcast engineering, I would seriously consider a different field!! It is not a pleasant environment, not to mention the fact that it's being more computer driven than human every day."
