What do you like about working at Kmart?

"The Store Manager is a hard working, dedicated manager. She will pitch in and help with pretty much anything that needs doing. She is approachable and will listen to concerns."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The interview was pretty straightforward and simple. Dress in business casual and be prompt."

What don't you like about working at Kmart?

"The corporate management is horrible. They have no idea what works in the trenches and they are not open to suggestions. There has been a wage freeze for 3 years and counting which may not be the end of the world if you are have been there awhile, but if you are started out at minimum wage, it's pretty bad."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop requiring people to do endless, redundant tasks which could be streamlined or eliminated if you would listen to some feedback from employees. (For example: Pick Lists which do not reflect accurate shelf sizes and stock needs)"

"There was not many positives about working at K-Mart unfortunately."

"A better leadership role would help with making unhappy co-workers happy."

"Nothing. If I had to choose one it would be the people that I work with."

"Run as fast as you can and find something with more opportunity."

"It is a miserable place to work with no potential for advancement."

"Show more interest in my employees lives and care about them. Happy employees make happy customers."
