"The disconnect between administration and teachers. Teacher morale is low, depending on your campus. If you try and make suggestions for improvement, you are looked at as if you attacking the district."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"You need to check teacher morale on campus. If it's low, it's the management style of the campus principals. We aren't in this for the money, but that doesn't mean you can expect us to work for free, without compensation, or even recognition."

"I love working here just because of my freedom in the classroom, but that is slowly going away with all the new teacher requirements. Learn the culture of Klein very quickly. Backdoor approaches work best."

What don't you like about working at Klein Independent School District?

"Teacher morale and the way the administration treats employees. We are told not to complain because we are lucky to have a job, and that if we don't like it, we can leave. Unless you are part of the in group, you are disposable. Guilty of cronyisim."

"Improve teacher morale. We feel overworked and under appreciated. Principals can either make or break a school - if teacher morale is low, the principal is doing something wrong."

"Freedom to do roam and interact with different people at my schools"

"I hope you know someone high up in the hierarchy because thats probably the only way you are getting in or moving up. The salary is not up to standards to other school districts."

"The good ol' boy system that is in place that hinders true, derserving people from moving up"

"Actually take out the good ol' boy system when hiring for different positions"
