"Kforce was the recruiter office. I worked in the Grocery Retail chain, with very fast growth. They have just opened their IT Dept. Which is not very organized and suffers from a lack of communication. In better terms, the company is really dysfunctional, and lacks trust in their employees. Kforce employees were awesome, I would truly recommend them for future job replacement."

What do you like about working at Kforce?

"Many of the co-workers were great to work with. Interacting with potential consultants was the highlight of my day."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"While you are being interviewed 4 or 5 times, make sure you interview your direct manager. You will want to gauge the maturity level, true industry knowledge, and leadership skills; you do not want too work for a manager who will set you up for failure."

What don't you like about working at Kforce?

"If you are hard working but don't seem to fit in the Frat/ Sorority house mix, management will discriminate against you and find creative ways to remove you from the team; VPs don't seem to care because that is the culture they enjoy creating. Those who speak up are typically terminated, so never have a voice if you plan to work at Kforce."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would hire talented and mature management, not those that don't set positive examples, refuse to train or mentor, perform poorly yet praised and over compensated. I would understand that the success of the team is dependent on all members working together to accomplish the overall goal."

"All of the co-workers all get along, and it's laid back."

"Examine what they tell you very closely. It may not be what you really want."

"The hours are not normal and make it difficult to get things done outside of work."

"Pick people that fit the job, not just throw a body at the work."

"I was a Kforce contractor for over 5 years. When I needed to talk to my account manager, it was always someone new, someone who did not know the history between myself, Kforce, and the company I contracted with. I rarely ever spoke to Kforce personnel face-to-face, even though they were reported to be within 500 feet of my office. I would not recommend Kforce to anyone willing to contract themselves out. No initiatives were taken by Kforce to permanently place me."

"The money and the business I have built."

"Not enough recruiting support, annoying coworkers, high prices."

"Manage people who need managing. Expect more out of their employees and give flexibility to those that do well."

"They will tell you there is a work / life balance but when I took the job, that changed dramatically. Just be cautious."

"Worked 60 hours a week."

"Management, not really competitive in the marketplace, not open to changes and lack of flexibility, limited opportunities or advancement and favoritism."

"Resign or become more honest and business ethical, the dinosaur attitude will make the company extinct."

"Too much negativity, hostility, internal battles and turn-over of personnel."

"Originally the compensation and general staff. HR personnel were very good to work with!"

"The interview will not represent the real environment! Very negative management with little or no support!"

What don't you like about working at Kforce?

"Every day was a challenge. Management was disconnected and negative. Employees were uneasy. Daily action reviews. Lots of employee churn."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Replace everyone at the senior management level and start over with a more positive team!"
