What do you like about working at Kellogg's?

"They paid well"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"See above. Consider the Pros and Cons before accepting any position at Kellogg"

What don't you like about working at Kellogg's?

"They treat their managers like numbers on a balance sheet. If you enjoy working 13 hour days 6-7 days per week with a small, forced vacation around the Christmas/Holiday shutdown, then they are the place to work but if you don't, I would suggest you not work here. They will do ANYTHING to save a dollar regardless of what it means to their employees or their quality of life. Most long term managers are uneducated and have few opportunities to go elsewhere and make the same pay. If you are educated and have other opportunities, I would exercise them and forget about Kellogg. Union workers (with seniority) seem to have the life at Kellogg but good luck getting into the union."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Go back to the basics. It is very expensive to find, train, and relocate QUALIFIED employees and the way Kellogg cycle through them, it would make good sense to treat them better and encourage the good ones to stay. The company would have better qualified managers that are happier and more productive because of it."
