"Wouldn't recommend. Owner only cares about himself. You could be let go at anytime. Management is self centered, have their favorites. They are the ones who get ahead or keep their job."

"Lancaster plant is on 4th plant manager in 4 yrs. and supervisors are a dime a dozen. Neither care about their policies or processes. It's all about quantity, not quality. Total favoritism. The few good workers who work hard and still care, would like to help with improvements but are treated like they are idiots. If you just want to collect a check, this is the place for you. If you want to get anywhere in this company, leave your brain and backbone at the door."

"Good work experience, but go through hell to get it."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't expect to have a personal life when joining the company. As an engineer, I was told I would be working a 40 hr work week, and that eventually grew to 60-70+ hours per week which is what is expected. Also, don't expect to get any compliments or positive feedback from manegemnt, they are only there to excel their careers and have no intention of developing their employees."

What don't you like about working at Kalas Manufacturing?

"Nicknamed Chaos Manufacturing no one is really in control within the company. Managers stay in their offices all day and have no idea what is going on the manufacturing floor, but gives employees projects left and right. When the projects don't go the way management thinks they should, they blame the employee 100% of the time. No leadership what so ever."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get out from your air condition offices, go out on the floor and see what is actually happening instead of talking like you do when in fact you have no idea."
