"KP always seems like a great employer, but unfortunately if you are not a licensed (RN/MD) or Union layoffs are frequent. This is a very bureaucratic government like organization that makes decisions in secret and targets employees management does not like. I have seen very successful and capable people disappear from KP never to be heard from again."

"Be willing to say there's work-life balance, but be willing to work 50-60 hours a week."

What don't you like about working at Kaiser Permanente?

"1. Politics overrides integrity. 2. Labor unions support bad behavior, low productivity and poor attendance. KP is too lenient on labor unions, gives too much in pay and benefits, then blames middle management for not being able to make them come to work and do work."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Do not allow senior leadership to mistreat lower level management."
