"There were tremendous growth opportunities and I moved up through the company very quickly and was compensated every step of the way. I enjoyed the challenges and pressures of starting and completing several projects through out my career with Brighton Homes."

"I really didn't have anything I didn't like, it was a very fulfilling and enjoyable job."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be a little more supportive during the lay-off process; it felt very robotic and was a complete shock to find out it was happening."

"I worked for K. Hovnanian Homes for 5 years as community construction manager. I enjoyed my time there, and I worked with really great people. They take the time to train you, which I liked. Decent base pay with a great bonus structure. The only negative I have is that management tends to micro manage at times, which adds stress to the job. Other than that, I would recommend this company to anyone looking to work as a construction manager."

"Overall, it was a fantastic company to work for. The CEO of the company is an amazing man, but unfortunately, the Division President doesn't have the same outlook as the CEO. In Houston, it's all about the money. The employee comes dead last in the equation."
