"Johnson & Johnson provides a wonderful work environment with family values. The company leadership goes out of their way to get to know each and every person in the organization. They work hard to provide their customers a great product and celebrate with their employees when they accomplish that mission."

"Work is easy but there is no advancement. Leadership is clueless and burns money in the effort to save money while they look for their next employer. IT groups and the business are very much at odds with each other, and no one is willing to cross lines to try and help each other. It is a culture of CYA. Benefits are awesome, and work / life balance amazing. Most of the people at manager level and below are wonderful and easy to get along with."

"I have been working at McNeil for over 1 year. The company has very good benefits and compensation. However, the culture at the particular site needs a serious makeover to create an ideal work place for all employees. Specifically, team work, transparency, trust, inclusion and listening to new/better ideas need significant improvement."

"There are two cultures at J and J IT: Employees and Contractors. There is a strong old-guard element among employees that sees consultants as enemies, as potential threats, and as substandard. The message is that consultants cannot be trusted, they must always be supervised (read micro-managed) and they never have the firms' best interests in mind. Sadly, while this is slowly changing, there are a number of older lower level managers who still think this way and they act to inhibit quality work."
