I believe management has a HUGE impact on the company's morale. Good management encourages and motivates individuals to work and work well whereas bad management creates a negative work environment. Although cliche, I believe positivity and honestly are two of the most important qualities a good manager can possess. Positivity allows for a thriving work environment and honestly creates trust between all levels of the company.

I have worked at other healthcare systems and John Muir Health is far advanced in technology, people engagement, transparency, and communication. The patients the perception is a "Nordstroms" level of quality and customer service. To the employees, it's the "wow" factor of actually performing the brand promise of listening, explaining and working as a team.
