"I've been working for Jacobs Technology now for 2 years. Working in the contractor world, I have little interaction with Jacobs itself. I spend most of my time working directly with the customer. I was hired right out of school and Jacobs provided me with a gateway to do all the things I always wanted to do."

What do you like about working at Jacobs Technology?

"The work is engaging, unique, and challenging. My immediate group works well."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask a lot of questions, know what you are getting into. Know that groups like HR and Accounting are not there to help."

What don't you like about working at Jacobs Technology?

"Few employees are recognized for their efforts, unless it is to make a point that they do recognize people. Having a management team that has no iea what you actually do, is often challenging."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Work on recognizing employee accomplishments. Not use employee benefits to make political points"

What do you like about working at Jacobs Technology?

"I liked working on-site for NASA and wished I was a civil servant with a NASA badge so I was not attached to Jacobs. Jacobs was a forced move from Lockheed Martin. I did not get to stay in my job due to a budget cut and Jacobs chose not to keep me."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Lose some of the recruiters and find some really innovative ones."

What don't you like about working at Jacobs Technology?

"Jacobs plays favorites and hurts alot of very good qualified people some of it they could do something about, and some of it they can't."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Find a fair system for keeping useful people in your working area."
