"It is a very good place to work."
"This was one of my worst employment experiences ever. I worked in a group full of miserable, evil and incompetent people. The director was a joke. She acted like she was running an elementary class. Showing favoritism, gossiping with people under her about other people under her, drawing conclusion about a situation due to her thinking she is more intelligent than what she is (very sad). The team developed some of the worst software I have ever seen and provided some of the worst support, but maintained and attitude that the software was good and is acting up due to customer actions ... their fault. 55+ hour work weeks were normal due to the amount of support and rework that had to go into the software this group produced. The director would like to say "We work really hard in JTS." You have to work harder to clean up the mess your created from not working smarter. She was a director and could not see it. I eventually got laid off and given a reason of "You work quality was low." When I had received an Exceptional job review a few Mk the prior ... funny. They did me a favor (that wad not their intention ... trust me!) though because I have not been happier since. I am at a point in my career that could have never been accomplished working in JTS."
"I've work for Jacobs Engineering for 8 months now and find that this company's employees are not team players and will throw you under the bus quickly for no reason at all. Bad morale for the team."
"Great company to work for."
"Very slow to move up in terms of my position."
"No room for growth at all."
"I've only been working with Jacobs for a little less than a year, but a lot has happened in this short amount of time. The ability to move up within the company is small. Since, we are a consolidated desk, we answer to our sister site in Tampa. We lack permissions to do simple admin tasks on the other networks. Stress levels and hostility rise daily due to the standards, set in place by Tampa, being unproductive."
"I've been working for Jacobs Technology now for 2 years. Working in the contractor world, I have little interaction with Jacobs itself. I spend most of my time working directly with the customer. I was hired right out of school and Jacobs provided me with a gateway to do all the things I always wanted to do."
"Jacobs Technology is a strong, ethical operation which has been the prime contractor under the ETASS contract at Hanscom AFB since 2007. Jacobs Technology, like their parent company Jacobs Engineering, has a strong emphasis on safety which comes from their history as a construction-oriented company. Sometimes this emphasis on safety seems a little out of place at Hanscom AFB because matters of safety at Hanscom do not fall under the ETASS contract but rather are handled by the Government."
"Once a great company to work for, now declining benefits, marginal merit increases, signal that Growth is an Imperative is the highest priority for Jacobs. Opportunity to support NASA is unequalled."
