"j2, in some degree due to its size, has quite serious office politics."

"There is lots of redundancy in the operation and analysis fields. It would improve the efficiency and facilitate decision making to consolidate those functions."

"Absolutely no room for advancement with manager being in their position for over 7 years. No bonuses or rewards."

"Communicate with your employees more frequently to eliminate problems in the work environment."

"This company was horrible. They were cheap, my boss was a micromanager who was later fired, and they do not care at all about technology or doing anything the right way. The only thing good about the place was it was in the middle of Hollywood and near a lot of fun areas."

"When eFax.com took over, our product's future was uncertain. I got assigned to run ad-hoc SQL queries for some analyst to come up with business plans. There was seldom any engineering work left."

"Stay away from Product Development if you have any work ethics or talent. There are better companies out there."

"Senior Management Weak no direction. A lot of turnover."

"Be concise and clear on your expectations from your employees. Especially in Product. Management needs to take the reigns and provide guidance, direction and support. Just don't sit back and offer nothing. You set your people up to fail when you do this."
