Submit a Review"Loved working with the owners and supervisors when we had to collaborate about technical issues with his equipment. I also loved working with the pro-level equipment that he used in his office and sandblasting setup. I didn't like contacting the support lines for assistance since some of these lines are outsourced to other countries and had some issues with communication to get the issues resolved."

"I love being able to help client with different situations they are having with your computer issues but there is always a few clients that make you not sure you want to do this job. Working with the public can be difficult at times."
"Every day there's something new to learn, some new issue, or problem with some software or hardware. It's so interesting that even the most basic things you thought you understood in and out can suddenly throw a curve ball of a brand new issue to the oldest of veterans. IT techs are the doctors of computing equipment."
"I absolutely love everything about my job. Each project is something new and exciting and that's what keeps me wanting more! I doubt I will ever wake up in the morning and not want to go to work. "You do encounter a large variety of issues which does help to build your troubleshooting skill set, however the technology being used is either archaic or too new as to not work well as a whole. The company needs to invest more in their employees as well as their organization skills to maintain a smoothly run environment."

"Helpdesk is basically the janitors of the IT world and not many people will tell you it is their dream job. I see it as an entry level job and as far as most entry level jobs go I would say it is high on the list. The only problem is that it can be really hard to move up from being in helpdesk unless you can get hired up from within your company."

"My departments team. We are like a small family within the park."

"Think long and hard about what this company will really do for your life. The pay will make you rethink this company."
What don't you like about working at Six Flags?
"Senior board members and their disregard for Local park IT staff. We are seen as bottom barrel and not needed in the grand design plan."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Local management: n/aCorporate: Realize the value of retaining park staff. Compensate them for the vast work they are required to do. $9.50 an hour is a gross injustice."
