"They need to expand their customer base to include a more diverse group including some non-government work."

"negotiate well when you start, otherwise you'll get stuck."

"not easy to move, small expectations, little players, they play safe all the time"

"None. Use the present ways of interviewing for positions with this company."

"No support from the upper management. They didn't step up when needed."

"More involvement with the working staff. They were not visible to us."

"Be sensitive to the highly political environment."

"Political decisions drove the processes which handicapped quality on-time completions."

"Create Project Management Office under the Housing Administrator to manage all Chickasaw Nation Projects. Fire the IT Manager and return to a streamlined Project oriented approach to Chickasaw Nation Project Success."

"I think they have a good benefits package and I get to work from home."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you get hired, leave within 3 to 5 years. Also, you will need to learn to deal with the stress of always being laid off every month. Every department you go into is usually in the process of moving their resources to growth markets or are in the early stages."
What don't you like about working at IBM?
"They expect you to be available 24 x 7 without compensation (i.e. time off without having to use vacation) after you have put in 30 + hours. Everything is always in a state of chaos and you constantly have to pick up the slack of other co workers whose work performance is sub par. All management can focus on is trying to find ways to outsource our jobs to growth markets. Once you get sucked into IBM, your skill set becomes non existent. IBM sucks the life out of you. Then after all the resource actions that have happened, management still expects you to perform at the same capacity without the resources you currently had and then pick up the work of the 3- 4 people that got laid off. We laid them off for the growth markets but yet they are not skilled enough to do the job so we don't expect them too."
