"It was a great first computer job employer"
What do you like about working at Extrude Hone?
"I enjoyed 2 things about working for Extrude Hone; 1-I was able to spend a little extra time to ensure my documentation was detailed and clear for new employees to follow along step-by-step for future support, and 2-I was able to watch the Watchguard Firewall logs so I could see when someone was trying to hack into the network."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be yourself and have a good time. The Extrude Hone employees were always the most friendly and helpful people I had ever worked with."
What don't you like about working at Extrude Hone?
"I was always missing the fun stuff, since it was a learning environment, and the other Intern always worked the morning shift, by the time I came in to work, most of the cool jobs were already completed. I was at least able to read about it in the daily logs."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The company should have thought about securing the network down further with proxy filters on the Watchguard to ensure that the clients were not causing infections by visiting unauthorized sites via company Computer Use Protocols."

"My experience is limited to a summer internship. However, I have family contacts who are currently employed by KBR."

"Show your willingness to learn new skills and interact with many unique individuals."

"Sometimes the work felt very reactive, rather than taking a proactive approach and planning/forecasting work responsibilities and load."

"Work with your employees to help improve planning and forecasting skills."

"Very Relaxed Environment. They treat their employees well. Somewhat casual."

"The people are very friendly and they allow you to choose your 8-hour shift time."

"Just be more prepared with incoming interns. Treat them as if they were new employees or consultants."
