"the ways management keeps track of performance are too strict."

"try to break out of the stereotypical financial services mold, with regard to rules and regulations, and dress code."

"This was a fantastic learning opportunity about all of financial services."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I you do not understand a catch 22 this is a great place to work."
What don't you like about working at The Marketing Group of New England?
"I met my 2006 goal by 160%. I met my 2007 goal by 143% (goal went up 40 %) and was constantly harrassed because I didn't have enough contacts at the end of the week. I think they may have been missing the point of sales."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"A sales manager once told me that she hated sales so she went into management. She was in charge of sales. Her boss slept at his desk. Luckily I have a great sense of humor."
What do you like about working at American Funds Distributors?
"No longer there, but it was a great corporate environment and you felt equal to everyone there."

"Be prepared for a thorough interview process."

"They didn't have my job description in Washington D.C., where I now live."

"Provide more upward movement for those who want to become wholesalers."
