"Being an intern at UCB gives you full access to their facilities, first dibs on improv and sketch classes while also putting you to work. With an amazing environment to be in the interns feel like they are an intricate part of the UCB ecosystem."

"It was difficult and challenging. I would not want to continue that line of work, not because of the challenges and difficulties but because I didn't have a passion for it."

"As an R&D Chemist, you get new challenges to face daily. Sometimes it's easy to deal with them, while sometimes it's not. But one thing I loved about the job was that the work you get is new every time and it doesn't get monotonous."

"It was a temporary position, since I was a summer intern, but I thought the program was very well run. I did feel a little like I was in the way sometimes, just because the project was not ancillary, but it was a good experience."

"I realized that my actual interest was to be a coder after stepping into the internship program. I love the failures I had to design the application for the slot machine. I hated nothing but dark gloomy environment my cabin had."

Intern at Turner Construction
in Manhattan, NY

"What I loved about being an intern was that we were given simple and fun tasks, such as drive around in golf carts for periods of time and assess the construction site. What I hated was that we were not given a whole lot of responsibility, construction wise. What I mean by this is that since we were just entry level staff, we were not able to sit down on meeting regarding actual construction discussions."
